Celebrity Appearances Change For July 25-28 Iowa Grand Motorcycle Rally

Friday, July 27, and Saturday, July 28, will feature TV Stars

NEWTON, Iowa – July 16, 2012 – ‘Sons of Anarchy’ stars will appear at the Iowa Grand Motorcycle Rally on both Friday, July 27, and Saturday, July 28. Due to a scheduling conflict, Charlie Hunnam – Jax – will now be at the Rally on Friday instead of Saturday. Additionally, Ryan Hurst – Opie - from the hit FX cable show will now appear on Saturday; replacing Katey Sagal, who had a filming conflict.

“Having two main stars from the show attend two days of the Iowa Grand Motorcycle Rally will enhance the overall experience of the Rally,” said Doug Fritz, CEO of Iowa Speedway. “With these actors coming out, along with all the concerts, vendors, and other attractions, attendees are in for one great time.”

The emcee of the Iowa Grand Motorcycle Rally, Jay Allen, also shared his thoughts on having Hollywood stars at the Rally.

“With Charlie and Ryan coming to the Iowa Grand, along with Danielle from American Pickers, we are really going to blow this out of the water,” said Allen. “It does not matter if you are on two wheels or four as long as you want to have a good time, because you are going to at this Rally!”
