Hunting: A Common Denominator Among Racers, Race Fans
Besides the obvious, what’s the connection among many top racers and the fans who pay to watch them race? The biggest one may just be a love of the outdoors, and a passion for ‘the hunt’.
Recently several Iowa Speedway staffers took a few well-deserved days off to pursue the deer population of Iowa, as shotgun season opened on December 1st. By all reports, their efforts were successful, bringing home 17 total after a few days of tracking, far from the proverbial ‘beaten path’.
