Speedway Foundation Scholarship Program to Return
Newton, Iowa – January 13, 2012 – Attending College can be a challenging, exciting endeavor but the experience for some might not be possible without financial aid and scholarships. If you’re a young woman looking for a program to help pay for higher education, make sure you apply for the 2012 Miss Iowa Speedway Scholarship Program for your chance to be selected the next Miss Iowa Speedway and a $1,500 scholarship, payable towards your tuition.
“Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited College or University in the United States for the 2012-2013 school year to be eligible,” said Iowa Speedway Foundation director Debb Smith. “This will be our fifth year doing the program, and every year we have seen a new record for applications.”
The deadline for entry is Friday, March 23, 2012, and applicants must be 18 years of age by May 19, 2012, the date of Iowa Speedway’s first race. A full list of rules and application can be found on Iowa Speedway’s official website, www.iowaspeedway.com.
