Daytona 500 Party Still a Success, Even Without the Race

NEWTON, Ia – February 27, 2012 - Even without a race, the 2012 Daytona 500 Party was still a great time for the more 350 people in attendance. The full-house enjoyed several raffles, pace car rides, suite tours, and some of the festivities of the Daytona 500. Prizes from Iowa Speedway sponsors were raffled away to help pass time until the race was finally postponed till Monday.
Ray, from Williamsburg, IA, won the 50/50 lottery and took home just over $350. Thank you again to all the race fans that came out for the 6th Annual Daytona 500 Party. We will be planning another watch party for next year’s Daytona 500, so put it on the calendar.
