Petty Safe Driving creating custom course in Clive
Nationwide Insurance and NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers Michael Annett and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. are joining forces with Petty Safe Driving and StreetSmarts Driver Education to help Des Moines-area high school students understand the dangers of driving while distracted and the need for them to be safe drivers.
This 2.5-hour program helps students explore ways to focus on safe driving. The NASCAR drivers will share their driving experiences and talk to students about the importance of safety behind the wheel.

Visuals: See students participating in a real driving experience to help them understand the importance of safe driving and maneuvering through hazards set up on the course. Members of the media are welcome to ride along in the vehicles and the NASCAR driver will be available for one-on-one interviews and photography.
