Rain Brings Changes to Friday's Schedule

Persistent rain showers have made some changes in the Friday schedule at Iowa Speedway. Practice for the NASCAR Nationwide Series U.S. Cellular 250 has been postponed until Saturday. The NASCAR Nationwide cars will take to the track at 9 a.m. for a one-hour practice session, their only practice session prior to tomorrow’s 3:05 p.m. qualifying round for the U.S. Cellular 250.
Tonight’s USAR Pro Cup event is still on as of 6:30 p.m. The starting time for the race is yet to be determined as it will be based on the end of the rain and the time it takes to dry the track. USAR qualifying was rained out earlier this afternoon, so the feature field will be lined up based on owner points. Clay Rogers will start on the pole with A.J. Frank on his outside.
