NASCAR Great, Rusty Wallace, will lead the design team in this first ever, driver designed racetrack. Rusty will
play an integral part of the overall design and layout of Iowa Speedway.
Rusty Wallace’s resume, one of the most accomplished in American Motorsports, includes:

Paxton Waters, AIA, is President of Paxton Waters Architecture, an Indiana design firm whose main focus is on
Motorsport Facility design. A native of Omaha, NE Paxton has 30 years of experience as an architect and is
registered in 19 states.
Paxton’s first involvement with motorsports was in 1990 with the design of various buildings at the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway, including their 60,000 square foot headquarters.
In 1994, Paxton was the lead designer for the California Speedway, shortly followed by the Las Vegas Motor
Speedway and Pikes Peak International Raceway near Colorado Springs. Recent facilities designed by Paxton
are, US 131 Speedway and Mansfield Motor Speedway.
Paxton has consulted on more than 50 feasibility studies from New York to California and is currently in design on
a multi venue facility in Central California.

Andrew H. Gerdom PE, LS, Director of Project Development
Robert E. Creviston, AIA, Project Manager
American Consulting is a multidisciplinary consulting firm providing the architectural, structural, and civil
engineering expertise needed for the development of entertainment venues throughout the country. American
Consulting is currently working with Paxton Waters on a number of racing facilities.
Andy Gerdom acts as Principle-in-Charge of projects at American Consulting and has a number of years of experience
in the development of racing facilities throughout the country with Mr. Waters. In addition, he has developed and
continues to develop a wide variety of large scale entertainment projects ranging from dirt ovals to high-speed
raceways. Mr. Gerdom has helped provide the technical expertise needed to achieve great racing projects.
Rob Creviston is an experienced architect with vast experience as a Project Manager on a variety of large-scale
projects across the country. He has supervised the development of many large-scale projects and is responsible for
everything from the development of schematic design through the final construction inspection on projects at
American Consulting.

a family run business founded on the principles of personal commitment, pride, and integrity has became a landmark
