SAFETY GUIDELINES: 

We have implemented several protocols and safety measures to reduce health risks for everyone in attendance, including:

  • Reduced seating and camping capacities
  • All guests (age 3 and up) will be required to bring and wear face coverings.
  • Guests will be directed to spaced parking spots.
  • A sequenced gate entry/exit procedure will be used to minimize large concentrations of personnel or guests.
  • Multiple hand washing and hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the operating areas and entrances.
  • A “Clean Team” of staff, clearly identified for guests, will be cleaning or disinfecting at all times
  • All belongings must be placed in clear bags, up to 18″x18″x14″.
  • For guests who may need an accommodation in order to comply with any facility rules and/or protocols, please contact our Guest Services team when you arrive on property for further information.

MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES: 

As with our essential personnel and competitors, guests will be required to wear masks while on Iowa Speedway property.

  • For guests who may need an accommodation in order to comply with any facility rules and/or protocols, please contact our Guest Services team when you arrive on property for further information.

ENTERING THE TRACK: 

The parking lots will open at 4:30 PM for the July 24 ARCA Menards Series race.  Fans will enter the grandstands at dedicated entry points in a sequenced fashion beginning at 5:20 PM in order to reduce large gatherings and ensure a smooth screening process.

HOW WILL YOU BE SANITIZING RESTROOMS AND CONCESSION AREAS? 

We will have all indoor public areas professionally disinfected every day in addition to the more frequent cleaning of high touch surfaces that happens throughout the day.

There will also be no buffet or self-serve options at concession locations.  There will be limited menu options and food preparation onsite, as well as physical barriers between the guests and food service operations.  Finally, anyone involved in food preparation will undergo the same screenings as employees.

CAN FANS ACCESS THE INFIELD FOR THIS RACE? 

No.  The infield will be open to competition-essential personnel only.

TAILGATING ON RACE DAY: 

All guests in our parking areas must maintain distance between their travel party and others.

  • Small portable grills are allowable
  • Small pop-up tents are allowable

WILL THERE BE CONCERTS OR OTHER ENTERTAINMENT? 

No.  There will be no concerts or other entertainment for this event.

WILL YOU HAVE DISPLAYS IN THE MIDWAY? 

Although there may be a few displays onsite during the event, all displays featured will be required to minimize contact and prevent crowding.

RACING ELECTRONICS WILL NOT BE ON-SITE 

Racing Electronics will not be on site for this event.

ADA TICKETS & SEATING

Iowa Speedway seeks to provide reasonable accommodations for all qualified individuals with disabilities.  Please contact the Ticketing Sales Center at 866.787.8946 to arrange for appropriate accommodations and seating.  Seating is based on availability.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A FAN FALLS ILL DURING THE RACE? 

There will be dedicated medical assets resourced to provide treatment and transport of any fan(s) developing symptoms during the event.  In addition, a robust disinfecting / decontamination capability has been established for immediate on-site response.  Finally, local public health officials will be notified of the potential infection.

WILL MERCHANDISE BE AVAILABLE? 

At this time it is not expected that merchandise haulers and retail locations will be available for this event.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS? 

All tickets and camping passes will be delivered to fans via Tickets @ Home, providing guests the flexibility to display their tickets on their mobile device for non-contact entry at the gates or the ability to print tickets at home from a computer and printer.  Please note that tickets will not be printed or mailed for this event. 

Tickets will be available to download or print beginning on June 28.

CAMPING PROTOCOLS 


Terrace Camping

  • Load-in begins at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 22 – Load-out must be complete by 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 25.
  • Only self-contained, registered recreational vehicles and campers will be allowed. Self-contained recreational vehicles are defined as vehicles that have built-in, permanently installed plumbing or running water and a holding tank for wastewater and sewage.
  • Shower facilities and tram/shuttle service will NOT be available for this event. 
  • Once set-up, campers in the group will be instructed to maintain distance from other campers and stay in their designated camping spots. All camping spots will be limited to a maximum of 6 guests.  When in their own designated spot with their own party, masks will not be required for camping guests.  However, if outside of their designated camping spot, guests must wear a mask and maintain distance from other guests.
  • If camping in an area where there is an empty spot adjacent to their assigned spot, guests should refrain from using the empty space for parking, gathering or any other activities.
  • All camping guests will go through identical screening as grandstand guests upon entry to Iowa Speedway property.
  • If campers must exit Iowa Speedway property for any reason, they will go through additional screenings upon exit and re-entry before being allowed back to their designated camping spots.
  • Recreational Vehicles are to be parked on the right side of each campsite. Exceptions will be made for two groups attending together.
