Limited Seating Options Still Available for INDYCAR Doubleheader/ARCA Race Weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (July 1, 2020) — Tickets are still available for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES races at Iowa Speedway the weekend of July 17-18, which also includes the ARCA Menards Series competing on the fastest short track on the planet.
With readjusted seating for safe social distancing and enhanced hygiene and safety precautions, great seating options are available for purchase.
Single-day tickets start as low as $15 for Friday, July 17 while all two-day ticket packages include a 10% discount. Tickets to the Iowa Speedway luxury hospitality suites are also still available, featuring an exclusive VIP experience high above Iowa Speedway with great food and beverage options. Weekend camping packages and premium parking options are also still available for purchase.
A new general admission picnic experience on The Hill is available for fans. Groups of up to four people can purchase tickets for an 8‘X8‘ area, featuring lawn viewing at $150 per group, located above Turn 1 and Turn 4, adjacent to the main grandstands.
The on-track action for Friday, July 17 will feature NTT INDYCAR SERIES qualifying in the afternoon, followed by the first Iowa INDYCAR 250 race of the weekend, under the lights at Iowa Speedway. On Saturday, July 18, the stock cars of the ARCA Menards Series practice in the afternoon followed by NTT INDYCAR SERIES practice. The ARCA Menards Series Shore Lunch 150 race will take the green flag late in the afternoon before the second Iowa INDYCAR 250 race that night to complete a fun two days of short track racing.
Under the guidance of public health officials, medical experts and local, state and federal authorities, INDYCAR and Iowa Speedway will observe safe social distancing and provide enhanced hygiene and safety precautions for all fans in attendance at the event. Each group of fans in attendance will be separated by at least 6 feet of distancing at Iowa Speedway, in order to align with Iowa state COVID-19 guidelines.
As part of the enhanced health and safety measures for the event weekend, all guests will be screened in their vehicles with contactless temperature checks before entering the parking areas and only essential racing personnel will have access to the infield. Hand sanitizer and face coverings will be distributed to each guest when they enter the track, and enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures will be implemented throughout the facility over the course of the weekend.
